The Institute for International Technology and Economy (IITE), established in November 1985, is a national-level think tank research institution affiliated with the DRC. It has long been committed to serving China's scientific and technological progress and economic development. It studies major policy, strategic and forward-looking issues relating to technological innovation and economic and social development, closely tracks global frontiers in science and technology and trends in economic and social development, and provides research and advisory support for relevant decision-making.
