The Information Center is a Category I public-service institution directly under the DRC. Its main responsibilities are to: (1) collect, analyze, research and submit information including domestic and international policies, literature and data; (2) conduct think tank information exchanges and comprehensive research on economic information; (3) edit and submit the DRC's principal research outputs; (4) develop the DRC's information technology projects and ensure the secure operation and maintenance of its networks and application systems; (5) manage and maintain communication platforms including the DRC's official WeChat account, English-language website and China Think Tank Network; and (6) undertake other tasks assigned by the Leading Party Members Group of the DRC.
